Frequently asked questions.
Answers on digital assets, tokenisation and regulation in the financial sector — pragmatic and grounded in practice.
Who does SK MC work for?
SK MC works exclusively for regulated financial institutions: banks, custodian banks, e-money institutions, FinTechs holding a KWG licence, asset managers and crypto securities registrars. No B2C, no private individuals, no unregulated companies.
What role does SK MC take in projects?
Sebastian Kelka leads every project personally — as project lead, business analyst, adviser or specialist reinforcing the client team. 80% of the work is practical delivery: process design, documentation, regulatory mapping, support through licensing procedures, integration into existing teams and processes. No strategy slides without delivery.
How does a typical project run?
In three phases: 01 Analysis & objectives (situation analysis, defining goals, assessing potential and risk). 02 Design & solution development (strategy, process design, roadmap). 03 Delivery & steering (hands-on project support, monitoring, building knowledge in the client’s teams).
Which regulations does SK MC cover?
SK MC covers 12 regulations from hands-on project experience: MiCAR, KMAG, eWpG, eWpRV, KryptoFAV, DLT-R, KWG, MaRisk, the German Money Laundering Act (GwG), ToFR, ZAG and DORA. Not textbook knowledge — expertise from real licensing procedures, implementations and audits. More on regulation & compliance →
Where does SK MC work?
Based in Munich. Projects across Germany — on site with the client or remote, depending on what the project requires and how often. English-language projects are equally possible.
How does a first call work?
Thirty minutes, no obligation, in confidence. We go through your situation and work out together whether SK MC is the right partner for your plans. Not a sales pitch — an honest comparison of need and capability. Arrange a first call →
Which languages does SK MC work in?
German (native) and English (fluent, full professional proficiency). Documentation, workshops and meetings are possible in both languages.
Are there references?
Yes — 10+ successfully completed projects since 2022, exclusively in the regulated financial industry (banks, custodian banks, e-money institutions, FinTechs, crypto securities registrars). Named references are shared on request and after agreement with the clients concerned. Confidentiality takes precedence.
